(1.) The writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:-

"That the respondents may be ordered to grant work charge status to the petitioners from the date they completed 10 years of service with all the benefits incidental thereof such as full back wages, seniority and pay fixation etc".

(2.) According to the petitioners, their case is covered by the decision of Supreme Court in Mool Raj Upadhyaya Vs. State of H.P. and others 1994 Supplement (2) S.C.C. 313 and the decision rendered by this court in Gauri Dutt and others Vs. State of H.P. Latest HLJ 2008 (HP) 366. The petitioners may file individual representations before the first respondent, in which case the matter will be duly examined by the first respondent and appropriate action in the matter, in accordance with law, will be taken.
