Income and Expenditure of the 1[council]

(1) The income of 1(the Council) shall consist of

(a) fees received from practitioners;

3[(a-1) fees received from examiners;

(a-2) any other fees collected by the Council;)

(b) grants received from the State Government, if any; and

1(c) donations and any other sums received by the Council.)

(2) It shall be competent for 1(the Council) to incur expenditure for the following purposes, namely:

(a) salaries and allowances of the Registrar and the staff 1(including the Inspectors) maintained by 1(the Council);

(b) fees and allowances paid to the members of 3(the Council) 4[or a committee 5[including a board of studies) thereof or of the appellate authority referred to in sub-section (7) of section 17);

1[(b-1) remuneration paid to paper setters, examiners, moderators and other persons appointed by the Council for the conduct of examinations;

(b-2) other expenses for the conduct of examinations ;)

(c) such other expenses as are necessary for performing its duties and functions under this Act.
