(1) The Board may, with the prior approval of the State Government, create post of academic staff which shall include teachers of institutions directly managed by the Board, with such designation and such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Board with the concurrence of the State Government.

(2) Persons belonging to the academic staff shall remain in charge of the academic programmes and activities of the Board.

(3) Appointment to the posts so created will be made by the President on the recommendation of the Selection Committee to be constituted by the Board for the purpose.
